Grains higher, Livstock lower.

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May advanced 29.25 cents at $6.2525 a bushel; May corn was up .75 cent at $6.3950 a bushel; May oats rose 9.25 cents at $3.1250 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 18 cents at $14.40 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Jun. live cattle was off .05 cent at $1.6207 a pound; May feeder cattle fell .80 cent at $2.0365 a pound; May. lean hogs was down 1.10 cents at $.7765 a pound.
