The Phoenix-based company said it had net income of $1 per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 36 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 29 cents per share.
The maker of portable classrooms, mobile offices and storage units posted revenue of $565.5 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $535.4 million.
WillScot expects full-year revenue in the range of $2.35 billion to $2.45 billion.
