On a per-share basis, the Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based company said it had net income of less than 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 2 cents per share.
The natural and organic food company posted revenue of $221.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $4.8 million, or 7 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $934.7 million.
SunOpta expects full-year revenue in the range of $1 billion to $1.05 billion.
