The Louisville, Kentucky-based company said it had profit of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, were 47 cents per share.
The liquor company that makes Jack Daniel’s and other brands posted revenue of $1.08 billion in the period.
Brown-Forman shares have increased 1% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 6% in the last 12 months.
