SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Xperi Corp. (ADEA) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $73.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The San Jose, California-based company said it had net income of 65 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 41 cents per share.
The provider of chip technology for small electronic devices posted revenue of $103.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $295.9 million, or $2.75 per share. Revenue was reported as $438.9 million.
Xperi shares have climbed almost 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $10.41, a decrease of 37% in the last 12 months.
