MCLEAN, Va. (AP) — MCLEAN, Va. (AP) — Gannett Co., Inc. (GCI) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $32.8 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the McLean, Virginia-based company said it had profit of 17 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 28 cents per share.
The newspaper company posted revenue of $730.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $78 million, or 57 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.95 billion.
Gannett expects full-year revenue in the range of $2.75 billion to $2.8 billion.
