SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (AP) — SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (AP) — Cameco Corp. (CCJ) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $11 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 7 cents per share.
The uranium producer posted revenue of $386 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $68.5 million, or 17 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.44 billion.
Cameco shares have climbed 21% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 38% in the last 12 months.
