NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — AMC Networks Inc. (AMCX) on Friday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $264.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of $6.11 per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and asset impairment costs, came to $2.52 per share.
The owner of cable channels including AMC and IFC posted revenue of $964.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $7.6 million, or 17 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.1 billion.
AMC Networks shares have risen 31% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 46% in the last 12 months.
