Four Seasons names next Georgetown hotel GM. He’s a legacy.

The next general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Washington is a legacy, the first in the history of the resort company.

Marc Bromley, a 14-year Four Seasons veteran, is returning to the D.C. area to serve as the Georgetown hotel’s senior general manager. His father, Stan Bromley, served as Four Seasons regional vice president and general manager of the same hotel in the late 1990s.

The younger Bromley replaces David Bernand, who announced last month he has was appointed regional vice president and general manager of the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, Texas. His last day in D.C. was March 25.

Bromley is scheduled to start May 13. He has a big move ahead, as he is currently general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii. He previously held general manager and resort manager positions at Four Seasons hotels in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Costa Rica.
