Have a tight window to get from D.C. to Newark, New Jersey? United Airlines will soon have a flight for you.
Starting March 29, United (NASDAQ: UAL) announced Friday, the airline will run hourly weekday shuttle flights between Reagan National Airport and New York/Newark Liberty International Airport. That’s 13 flights Monday through Friday, up from the eight currently offered.
The flights will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. out of National, and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. out of Newark — there is a two-hour break between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for flights leaving New Jersey. Total travel time is about 80 minutes.
No other airline will offer as many flights between the two airports, according to United.
