Stardog boosts sales team with new exec hire

Arlington data unification platform Stardog has made another change at the executive level, adding sales veteran Bob More as its new global head of sales and alliances.

The addition comes after Stardog made a quiet leadership change in August, with the departure of Opower Inc. alum Michael Sachse and the return of original CEO and co-founder Kendall Clark, who had been serving as the company’s chief technology officer.

Sachse, who did not comment for our original article, has since updated his LinkedIn page to include metrics about his performance as CEO, which ran from June 2018 to September 2019. That includes growing annual recurring revenue by 150%, improving customer retention from 82% to 95% and earning a Glassdoor rating of 4.9 stars, according to his LinkedIn page. He also states that he doubled headcount, lowered the company’s “burn” (how much money it spends) and “received commitment for series B financing.”
