JBG Smith West Half’s inks more restaurants, opens for leasing

JBG Smith Properties has opened West Half, its apartment-over-retail development that peers directly into Nationals Park, for leasing while also announcing two new eateries — Basebowl and HipCityVeg.

The 465 apartments now available for lease range from 365-square-foot studios to 2,021-square-foot, three-bedroom residences, including some units with larger terraces facing Nats Park. Those “select” units are part of what JBG Smith (NYSE: JBGS) calls its 1205 Collection, information for which is only available by request.

West Half features a “hotel-styled social rooftop space” overlooking the ballpark, a rooftop pool and sundeck with cabanas, a two-story private access lounge, fitness center, “tranquil greenspaces,” a 24/7 concierge, a controlled-access parking garage, bicycle storage and housekeeping services.

The building also offers 65,000 square feet of retail across two stories, to include the recently inked ramen-focused Basebowl and the plant-based HipCityVeg. They join previously…
