Education technology company 2U Inc.’s (NASDAQ: TWOU) long-serving Chief Financial Officer Catherine Graham is retiring.
Graham, who first joined the company in 2012, will step down effective April 1 or earlier if the company appoints a new CFO, according to the Lanham-based company. Graham will in the meantime will oversee the company’s fiscal year-end reporting and upon her departure serve as a strategic adviser.
2U is now conducting a search for its next CFO and has retained executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates.
“For the past seven years, Cathy has been an indispensable part of 2U’s success, an important member of our leadership team, and a valued advisor to me personally,” 2U co-founder and CEO Chip Paucek said in a statement.”Her financial acumen and effectiveness in communicating complexities with clarity have been a hallmark of her tenure and a strength we can benefit from in the future.”
