Jaden Craig’s 3 TD passes lift Harvard to first win over Princeton since 2016, 45-13

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Jaden Craig threw for three touchdowns as Harvard ran away from Princeton, 45-13 for its first win over the Tigers since 2016 to remain a game back in the Ivy League Saturday.

Working out of the shotgun in the Crimson’s no-huddle offense, Craig threw 19 yards to Kaedyn Odermann and 14-yards to Cooper Barkate for first-quarter touchdowns, then fired 21 yards to hit Seamus Gilmartin in stride at the goal line for a third TD early in the second to take a 24-10 halftime lead. Charles DePrima ran 3 yards for a touchdown to start the fourth quarter, then found Barkate for a 39-yard touchdown. Malik Frederick capped the scoring, nosing in from the 1 with 3:12 left.

Craig completed 25 of 32 pass attempts for 306 yards with an interception. Gilmartin had four catches for 108 yards and a touchdown while Barkate caught 6 for 99 yards and two scores. Xaviah Bascon had 15 carries for 71 yards.
