Rutgers hosts UMass-Lowell following Covington’s 20-point performance

BOTTOM LINE: UMass-Lowell visits the Rutgers Scarlet Knights after Yuri Covington scored 20 points in UMass-Lowell’s 89-62 win against the Columbia Lions.

Rutgers went 14-3 at home last season while going 18-14 overall. The Scarlet Knights averaged 68.5 points per game last season, 31.5 in the paint, 11.9 off of turnovers and 9.4 on fast breaks.

UMass-Lowell went 6-9 on the road and 15-16 overall a season ago. The River Hawks averaged 7.2 steals, 4.0 blocks and 11.2 turnovers per game last season.
