‘Coming down all at once’: Snow blankets DC-area roads, making for dangerous commute
Snow is coming down furiously in the D.C. area, making for a dangerous Wednesday morning commute. Road conditions vary from slippery to slushy to snow-covered. Federal offices in the area are closed, as well as all major school systems. Meteorologist Matt Ritter said you can expect quick accumulations of 2 to 4 inches along the Interstate 95 corridor in Northern Virginia, D.C. and suburban Maryland. Look for 4 to 7 inches along the U.S. 15 corridor and points west. Here's what you need to know.

B&B being built near 'Waltons' house
Construction of the bed-and-breakfast in Schuyler, Virginia, is expected to be completed by mid-October, in time for the yearly Waltons event later that month.
Sports betting coming to DC
