A relief to see a good man who just merely happens to be a Muslim
Yes,amazing at it is, there are some out there (one just has to dig a little)

Even though these monsters were (past-tense) family, and I'm sure he sadly remembers both as sweet little kids, he isn't letting that memory cloud the truth.

He freely admits shame over their dragging the family's name & honor into a bloody extremist gutter. As opposed to the father's reaction back in the Old Country, Uncle has apparently seen these two "angels" transform into the hellspawned devils that they became.

Uncle is a man who obviously learned to acclimate well into American society and even follows the "love thy neighbor" (unconditionally) rule... or whatever its islamic equivalent might be (assuming they even have one).

    The uncle speculates,
Tsarni said: "Being losers, hatred to those who were able to settle themselves. These are the only reasons I can imagine of. Anything else, anything else to do with religion, with Islam, it's a fraud, it's a fake."

If we go with that, and assume that it is nothing to do with religion, that makes me wonder about some things.

Many of these mass shooters, now these bombers, have been identified as loners....seemingly losers who didn't fit in, or maybe got bullied in school. And I think about so many suicides amongst teens. Teens that feel alone, rejected, like losers, and social media pressures only make it worse.

Does it seem like these things have gotten worse in the last 10 - 15 years? I wonder if it has anything to do with how and what we teach our kids in school these days? We don't focus on the basics of math, reading, science and history like we used to. We put so much emphasis in the classroom on making children feel good about themselves. We don't want anyone's feelings hurt. We don't want to have winners and losers in games or competitions because everyone is a 'winner'.

I think this sets kids up for failure. If kids are never taught that they can fail or lose at something, what happens when they get older and have to deal with real life issues, and not everything turns out right? They don't always win.

Of course parents play into this too. Parents need to do their part to teach their kids the hard life lessons, that their children will not always be the fastest, best in the spelling B, homecomming queen, prettiest, etc. But that's ok. Not everyone can be number one, but everyone can put forth their best effort.

The things mentioned above along with the garbage they see on television - programs with no adult leadership, where kids rule their own world and treat adult figures with total lack of respect; no moral underpinnings for children to fall back on; and violence everywhere you look - from tv programs, movies, games, and real life, what on earth do we expect to be happening around us?

The 19-year old does not fit the suicide bomber profile.
most of those people are young with little hope of being anything in life. They are talked into becoming a suicide bomber by others who want to use them to inflict harm on others. These two brothers appeared to have some meaningful future.

    The younger brother did....
    Not the older one.

I'm actually angrier at the younger brother. The older one was a washed up boxer heading toward a dead end job. He radicalized because he really was a loser.

The younger guy had everything going for him and the jerk farked it up.

    Impressive
I actually watched this live, and was a little concerned when one of the reporters asked him about his feelings about America. It was an absolutely wonderful response about how he tells he kids about how this is a great country and how everyone has a chance to be successful and happy. This is truly someone who has taken advantage of opportunities he has been provided, and is teaching those values to his kids. We need more people like him in this world.

Uncle seems like a good man
And I hope the public leaves him and his family alone.

I did hear some aunts on audio clips who live elsewhere who were in total denial that their nephews could possibly be involved.

One kept saying, "Show me the evidence..." Gosh, where would you even start with that request?

BS, pull his paperwork, and the paperwork
for the entire frigging family that the dumb Aunt of these two terrorist bough into the US on emergency asylum in 2002. Let's make sure we did not make a mistake. While we are at it, execute search warrants for every house of every member of that family that came over here, sponsored by the dumb Aunt in Canada. Wonder why she lives in Canada now?

I'm sure that's already been done...
In a case like this, the feds move fast. (Faster than the IRS sending me my refund.)

Ruslan Tsarn, You Are "Good People"
Your nephews do not reflect upon you. Your brother and sister in law, but not you.

Thank you for telling us what most of us already knew: the average person of ANY religion is mortified with this kind of murderous action.
