    Dr. Drew on Selective Mutism
Thanks so much for addressing selective mutism in your One Minute Clinic. My now 6-year-old son used to suffer from this little-known anxiety disorder but I am happy to report that he is fully verbal and socially confident today through some of the techniques you mentioned--therapy, parental guidance, slow exposure to opportunities to speak and be social, and so on. I blog about his journey at www.bloomingboy.com. Thanks again!
