Prince George’s County teacher charged with sexual abuse of student

WASHINGTON —A Forestville High School teacher was arrested Thursday for sexual abuse of a 17-year-old female student.

Vincent McDuffie, 45, of Upper Marlboro admitted to his involvement with the student, police said. He is charged with sexual abuse of a minor.

The student said McDuffie had sexual contact with her multiple times in March and April on school grounds during the school day, according to police.

In a news release, Prince George’s County Public Schools said they have placed McDuffie on leave without pay and will immediately seek his termination.

“Any behavior that brings harm to a student will not be tolerated in any way in PGCPS,” the school system said in the news release.

Police ask anyone with information about this case to call 301-772-4930.
