Lockdown ends at 4 Prince George’s Co. schools; McLean High closed

WASHINGTON — Four Prince George’s County schools were  locked down for more than hour Monday as police investigated a shooting.

DuVal High School in Lanham, Maryland, Robert Goddard Middle School, Catherine Reed Elementary and Magnolia Elementary were locked down after a shooting occurred near a shopping center across the street from DuVal.

DuVal is located at 9880 Good Luck Rd.

Traffic was blocked along Greenbelt Road between Good Luck Road and Aerospace Road during the investigation.

Police say it appears there’s one victim.

Meanwhile a bomb threat forced McLean High School to close Monday. The threat was called in just after 8 a.m. Parents can either go to the school to pick up their kids or wait for buses to take them home.
