Man attacked with tire iron near Md. Porta Potty by ex-girlfriend, lovers

WASHINGTON — A 32-year-old man is recovering after being attacked and nearly bludgeoned to death with a tire iron near a Porta Potty.

Montgomery County Police have arrested the ex-girlfriend of the victim Andres Hernandez, and the teenage couple with whom she was sexually involved, reports ABC 7.

Glenda Rodriguez, 33, and Luis Figueroa, 18, are now facing a list of felony charges including attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. Figueroa’s 16-year-old girlfriend is an alleged accomplice. But her records are sealed because she is a juvenile.

Hernandez and Rodriguez lived in a home along the 12300 block of Charles Road in Silver Spring. Figueroa and his 16-year-old girlfriend also resided in the home.

According to documents filed in Montgomery County District Court, Hernandez recently discovered Rodriguez and his roommates engaging in group sex, commonly referred to as a “threesome” and he disapproved.

Upset by the secret love affair, Hernandez became vocal about his girlfriend and roommates. The trio was deeply offended by his remarks. Cell phone records and text messages later obtained by detectives revealed a premeditated attack.

Recently, on Dec. 7, Rodriguez, Figueroa and Figueroa’s girlfriend were driving in the area of Plyers Mill Road and Douglas Avenue in Wheaton. There, according to police, the trio of lovers discovered a Porta Potty and devised a plan to harm Hernandez.
