D.C. man wanted for murder in fatal NW shooting

WASHINGTON — D.C. police officers are looking for Marvin W. Lopez, also known as Marvin Lopez Cabrera, who allegedly shot and killed a man in Northwest on Christmas Eve.

According to police information, Yamalith Arroyo was killed along the 3900 block of 14th St. NW. Homicide detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Lopez and charged him with murder.

Lopez, 35, is Hispanic, stands 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds, according to police. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue jacket and brown pants.
