WASHINGTON — If you’re shelling out huge amounts of money for your dream wedding, you might want to be a little more thrifty for your honeymoon.

U.S. News has compiled a list of the top 10 most affordable honeymoon locations for the economical couple — the top four of which are on the East Coast.

Heading the list is Charleston, South Carolina for its historical town, art galleries, new restaurants and nearby beach towns. It’s full of bed-and-breakfasts and is an up-and-coming foodie destination for gourmand couples.

In second place is Cape Cod — heralded for its tranquility and fresh seafood. The Adirondacks mountains and Savannah, Georgia come in third and fourth place, respectively.

Other locations that made the list include Sanibel Island, Florida; Yellowstone National Park and the Outer Banks along North Carolina’s coast.
