Pandora Jewelry moves regional HQ to Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) — The American headquarters of Pandora Jewelry is moving to Baltimore.

The company, known for its charm bracelets, plans to move about 600 jobs from its current headquarters in Columbia to downtown Baltimore some time in the first quarter of 2015.

The move will make Copenhagen, Denmark-based Pandora, which had $1.6 billion in global revenue last year, one of Baltimore’s largest employers.

The company said it considered more than 60 locations.

The Baltimore Development Corporation, which administers an enterprise zone inside the city, said Pandora will be eligible for tax incentives.
