WASHINGTON – Apple’s latest version of its mobile operating system has improved the phones’ battery life.

According to a ZDNet review, the iOS 7.1.1 shows levels of battery life comparable to that of iOS 6 . Considering the original iOS7.1 caused battery levels to dip, news about the iOS 7.1.1 will be exciting to iPhone users.

While conducting several comparison trials, reviewer Adrian Kingsley-Hughes’s found the iOS7.1.1 holds a charge approximately 16 percent longer after a six-hour test than the earlier operating system version.

Apple is continuing to work on providing further improvements to battery life.
