WASHINGTON — The Anne Arundel County Police Department has released video, pictures and descriptions of two suspects and a suspect vehicle from recent robberies occurring at a Dunkin’ Donuts, Wendy’s restaurant and the BP Gas Station/Benfield Service Center.

The vehicle involved in these robberies is believed by police to be a dark green Ford Expedition.

The video shows the suspect enter. The other individual in the video is a customer. The suspect places a bag on the counter and demands cash. He fills the bag with cash and exits. The particulars of the robberies include:

  • At approximately 7:01 p.m. on Nov. 15,2013, officers responded to the Benfield Service Center(BP)located at 8699 Veterans Highway in Millersville, Md. for an armed robbery. An employee advised police that the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun, committed a robbery and took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then exited the business and fled into a wooded area toward West Benfield Road.
  • On Nov. 15, 2013 at 9:06 p.m., officers responded to the Wendy’s restaurant located at 6910 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, Md. for an attempted armed robbery. Officers learned that two black male suspects entered the store wearing black hooded sweatshirts and white tennis shoes. Both suspects displayed black colored semi-automatic handguns and demanded money from the clerk who fled from the store. One of the suspects then jumped over the counter but was unable to open the cash register. Both suspects then fled the location toward the rear of the restaurant.
  • At approximately 9:24 p.m. on Nov. 15, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 8053 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, Md. An employee of the business advised police responders that two suspects entered the business, each armed with a handgun, and took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects then exited the business toward the Bowling Alley located on Jumpers Hole Road. Numerous officers and K-9 attempted to locate the suspects with negative results.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’8″ in height and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white tennis shoes and armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 6’2″ in height and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white tennis shoes, and armed with a black handgun.

Anne Arundel County Police say resources have been deployed throughout the county in an attempt to identify the suspect. Police ask anyone with information to please call the Criminal Investigation Division, Robbery Unit at 410-222-3566.
