Suspect sought in Germantown bank robbery

WASHINGTON – The police are asking for help finding a man they say robbed a Germantown bank on Tuesday.

Montgomery County detectives say that someone came to the TD Bank at 19501 Frederick Rd. on Tuesday morning and gave a teller a note demanding money and implying that the man had a weapon. The man got an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as black; 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 1 inch tall; and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a disguise.

The police ask anyone with information to call 866-411-TIPS (8477) or leave their tip online at their website. There’s a $10,000 reward and tipsters can remain anonymous.
