Wendy’s introduces new pretzel bacon cheeseburger

WASHINGTON – After months of testing, Wendy’s is rolling out its much-anticipated pretzel bacon cheeseburger.

The burger, which is made with a heartier pretzel-like bun, is made with warm cheddar cheese sauce, thick-sliced bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and smoky honey mustard, reports USA Today.

Wendy’s began testing the burger in select locations in January, the AP reports.

The burger will be available across the country in two weeks and sells for $4.69.

The new pretzel bacon cheesebruger has 680 calories, 2 grams of fiber and 37 grams of protein.
