WASHINGTON – The Washington Animal Rescue League took the show on the road last week, this time to a restaurant on the District’s Southwest Waterfront.

The Cantina Marina, known for its dog-friendly atmosphere, hosted an event Monday evening that brought several puppies face-to-face with potential adopters.

“Cantina puts out bowls of water and treats for the puppies,” said Matt Williams, WARL’s communications director. “It’s great for us to be able to actually bring the animals out and let people see and pet them.”

WARL plans at least three more outings in July.
