Police pull body from Potomac River

WASHINGTON – A body was discovered and pulled from the Potomac River in Washington on Wednesday.

D.C. Police say the person appears to be an adult man. He was found west of Key Bridge just before 12:30 p.m., according to Officer Hugh Carew with the Metropolitan Police Department.

Police are investigating how the person died and attempting to identify him, Carew says.
