Located in Las Vegas, the camp offers several packages that include song writing and recording courses, performing at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and jamming with famous musicians.
The camp even offers a corporate team-building program in which groups write and record a song about their company’s products or message.
The main attraction is the three- or five-day camp program that features rock star counselors. Some of the artists associated with past programs include Roger Daltrey of the Who, Jack Bruce of Cream, John Popper of Blues Traveler and Gene Simmons of Kiss.
The three-day camp costs $6,999, but there are more affordable options available.
The “Rock Star for a Day” package starts at $299 and can include jam sessions with touring rock celebrities, recording sessions and autographed memorabilia.
Veteran rock producer David Fishof founded the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in 1997 and has even written a book about what companies can learn from the music industry.
Camp-goers are currently in session with Alice Cooper and Ace Frehley of Kiss.
Upcoming camps will feature Sammy Hagar and Def Leppard.
