Police Release Photos Of Bethesda Home Burglary Suspect

Police today released photos of a suspect in a December home burglary who they say was caught on camera using a stolen ATM card at a Prince George’s County ATM.

Montgomery County Police say at about 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, they were called to a home in the 10200 block of Hatherleigh Dr. for a report of a burglary. The suspect snuck into the house through an unlocked basement window and stole small electronics, currency, documents, jewelry, gift cars and credit cards, according to police.

Police determined the suspect used the victim’s ATM card while attempting to withdraw cash in Prince George’s, though the photos suggest he recognized his photo might be taken.

The man’s face is partially hidden in all three photos police released today. They are asking anyone with information on the suspect to call 2nd District detectives at 301-657-0112 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Solvers. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in this case.
