WASHINGTON – There is no relief in sight for gas prices, as the weekly average in the D.C. region jumped 9 cents in the last week to $3.84 a gallon.
That is 6 cents above the national average and 16 cents higher than it was in this region a year ago.
AAA predicts the price will peak in April or May and will be below last year’s high of $3.98 a gallon.
