  • The Midshipmen (5-6) wrap up their pre-exam schedule with a match up at Alumni Hall against Bryant University (5-3) Monday night.

Navy freshman Tilman Dunbar was named the Patriot League’s Rookie of the Week Monday after averaging 19 points and six assists in two games last week. It marks the second straight week a Navy freshman has won the award as Kendall Knorr took the honor last Monday.

GW’s game at Rutgers marks its third of four meetings this season against power conference opponents. They also visit the Georgia Bulldogs Jan.3, before opening Atlantic-10 play five days later.

The Wizards (2-15) begin a demanding stretch of four games in five nights when they visit the New Orleans Hornets (5-14) for the only time this season.

The Wizards and Hornets have a few things in common – both are in last place in their respective conferences and both have struggled without the services of their first overall draft picks. John Wall has been sidelined all season for the Wizards, while Anthony Davis has missed the last 11 games with an ankle injury. The Hornets have gone 2-9 over that stretch.

Pregame coverage begins at 7:15 with play-by-play voice Dave Johnson and color analyst Glenn Consor.

  • Friday, Dec. 14, 7:00 pm, WIZARDS vs. L.A. LAKERS (WFED 1500 AM):

The Wizards welcome Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers (9-12) to Verizon Center for the first time last March when the Wizards won 106-101.

The 34-year-old Bryant entered the week as the NBA’s leading scorer with an average of 28.6 points per game. Pregame coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. with Dave Johnson and Glenn Consor.

  • Saturday, Dec. 15, 7:30 pm, WIZARDS @ MIAMI (WFED 1500AM):

The Wizards and Heat (13-5, through Monday) meet in South Beach Saturday, their first matchup since Washington’s 105-101 at Verizon Center last Tuesday.

The Wizards are 3-0 in their last three meetings against the Heat but 3-15 against the rest of the NBA over that same span.

Extended pregame coverage begins with All Access at 6:00. The official start of Wizards pregame with Dave Johnson and Glenn Consor begins at 7:15.

The Ravens can clinch the AFC North Division with a win Sunday and guarantee themselves at least one home playoff game. The Broncos have already clinched the AFC West Division and have won a league-best eight straight games..

Pregame coverage begins at 12:30 with play-by-play voice Gerry Sandusky, color analyst Qadry Ismail and sideline reporter Stan White.
