Va. police looking for suspect who approached teen girl

WASHINGTON – Police are looking for a man who reportedly followed and approached a 16-year-old girl on Oct. 1 in Springfield.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. in the 7000 block of Golden Horseshoe Court, after the man insisted the teen had a flat tire and needed to change it.

The teen knew the man was lying and left the area.

Fairfax County police say no crime was committed, but they would like to speak to the man.

The suspect is described as an Asian or Hispanic man in his late 20s. He is believed to be driving a bright blue Subaru Impreza WRX STI with a spoiler on the trunk. The car was seen near West Springfield High School.
