Md. woman cited for leaving children in car unattended

WASHINGTON – A Maryland woman is in trouble after leaving two young children in her car unattended for about 15 minutes.

Police in the city of Fairfax cited 23-year-old Shantelle Dare of Landover with not properly supervising the children after they were called to the scene on Eaton Place.

Dare was not arrested.

The boys, ages 5 and 6, were not injured.
