Many displaced in District Heights after 3-alarm fire

WASHINGTON – A 3-alarm fire at an apartment building in District Heights Tuesday evening has left many residents displaced.

The fire happened at the 3-story Rochelle Hall Apartments in the 1900 block of Rochelle Avenue.

Mark Brady with Prince George’s County Fire and EMS says the fire was put out before 9 o’clock, and no serious injuries are reported.

There were reports that two firefighters were hurt while responding to the fire, but Brady says their injuries are not serious.
