WASHINGTON – A 12-year-old Fairfax County girl reported missing April 27 has been located, officials say.
Ashlie Mae O’Brien said she was going to a friend’s house on the 8000 block of Oak Leaf Drive the last time she was seen, but she never arrived.
After a week-long search, Mount Vernon police found her in the custody of a relative. Officials are not saying who the relative is or how O’Brien was located as the investigation is ongoing.
