D.C. police seek missing woman and 2-year-old daughter

WASHINGTON – The D.C. police are asking for the public’s help in finding a mother and 2-year-old daughter, who haven’t been seen since Sunday.

Veronica Ray, 29, and her daughter, Lebeyah Godo, were last seen at about 8 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Emerson Street, in Northwest, the police say.

Ray is described as black; 5 foot-3 and 130 pounds, with a light complexion and shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a pink shirt, and pink and gray sneakers. Godo is black, with short curly hair. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with leopard-spotted sleeves, pink sweat pants and a pink sweat shirt.

They were last seen in a silver 2015 Dodge with D.C. plates EX4738.
