Police: Multiple suspects sought after man forced into van, sexually assaulted

WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help identifying and finding seven suspects after a man was sexually assaulted in Northwest on Friday.

The police say a man was forced into a white van at gunpoint in the area of 14th Street and Parkwood Place, in Columbia Heights, around 8 p.m. and was then sexually assaulted.

One of the suspects was described as a Hispanic man who stands between 6-feet-1 and 6-feet-2, with a slim build, between the ages of 22 and 27 and with short, black curly hair. Police say he was seen wearing an orange shirt and gray sweatpants. Another suspect was described as a heavy set male, 17 to 19 years old with a light complexion.

Police say at least five other males were also involved, but no descriptions were available.
