WASHINGTON (AP) — Members of the public will be able to see and touch nearly 30 city government vehicles during an annual event in a parking lot at Washington’s RFK Stadium.
District of Columbia officials are putting on the free “Truck Touch” event Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The city says they will have nearly 30 vehicles on hand including those used to clean and repair streets, change traffic lights, collect garbage and clear snow.
This is the eighth year for the event. Officials say more than 3,000 people came to last year’s event.
