1 man killed in Southeast D.C. shooting

WASHINGTON – D.C. Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives are investigating a killing in Southeast, Saturday morning.

On May 23, 2015 at approximately 1:10 am, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the rear of the 2300 block of Irving Street, SE. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male and female suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to local hospitals where the adult male died from his injuries and was pronounced dead. The adult female was admitted for treatment.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information can be given to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
