Snow could make for a tricky evening rush

The D.C. metro area is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 p.m. until midnight. The advisory calls for snow showers. The timing of the snow could complicate the evening commute. “It isn’t the amount of snow. It’s the timing and the conditions out ahead of it. The ground is frozen solid, so it will hold snow immediately,” says Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Chuck Bell.
