Nationals fire manager Matt Williams, entire coaching staff

The Washington Nationals fired manager Matt Williams and the entire coaching staff Monday after his second as the team’s skipper. Williams was named the NL Manager of the Year after last season, his first as a big-league manager, but the team, thought to be a World Series contender as this season began, was a disappointment.
