Trader Joe’s recalls frozen chicken product

WASHINGTON – Trader Joe’s issued a recall on Saturday of its Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice after fears the product may be contaminated with Listeria.

The recall for the product, production date “305 12” and sku 99032, affects stores in 14 states, including Maryland and Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia.

Customers who have purchased the item are instructed to dispose of it or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.

The grocery store chain says no one has reported falling ill to date.
