WASHINGTON – Police are asking the public to help identify a bandaged man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Montgomery Village on Christmas Eve.

Montgomery County Police say around 8:45 p.m. Dec. 24, the suspect entered the CVS in the 19000 block of Montgomery Village Avenue and said he had a gun.

The suspect then handed employees a note demanding drugs and the employees complied.

The suspect left the store using the front door and fled in an unknown direction.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police do not believe the robbery is related to the two previous robberies of the same CVS that occurred Nov. 17 and Nov. 30. The suspect in those two robberies was a black male, armed with a shotgun.

Police are releasing surveillance photos of the suspect from the Dec. 24 robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 25 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing between 200 and 230 pounds.

The suspect had bandages wrapped around his head and his arm wrapped in a sling. He was wearing tan pants and a blue sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
