Al-Qaida claims to have missiles in newly published video

WASHINGTON – A chilling video has emerged on YouTube that allegedly shows al-Qaida militants at what U.S. intelligence sources say appears to be a ballistic missile site.

WTOP has not been able to independently verify the authenticity of the video, which includes audio of an individual speaking in Arabic. The video title translates to “The Mujahidin’s Spoils of War that Terrorize the Infidels.” It is listed as being published on Jan. 30, 2013.

U.S. intelligence sources think it may have been shot in Syria. The black flag of terror group al-Nusrah is seen flying in the video. It shows eight people dressed in black clothing, similar to what al-Qaida-linked militants wear and they have masks over their faces and are all posing with Kalashnikov rifles in their hands. Two of the eight militants are standing on the nose cones of two missiles which are pointed at the camera horizontally.
