Stuck plane passengers sing R. Kelly song (Video)

WASHINGTON – Passengers destined for Phoenix made the best of a bad situation on Sunday when they were stuck on a Las Vegas tarmac without air conditioning for several hours.

A man on Allegiant Airlines flight 592 got out a portable stereo and played R. Kelly’s song “I Believe I Can Fly” aloud. Many of his fellow passengers sang along, particularly at the chorus, according to The Huffington Post.

The site reports the person who posted the video said the passengers sat in two different planes for five hours with no air conditioning, no water and no snacks. The YouTube poster said two people passed out and two vomited.

The Huffington Post reports a medical emergency required the passengers to get off the first aircraft and move to another, which then had a mechanical issue preventing them from taking off immediately.
