WASHINGTON – Tired of threadbare heels, holes at the toe or losing them altogether in the wash? Fans of stockings, never fear: One company has a new, bullet-proof approach.
Betabrand clothing is offering insurance on their socks, in case anything should happen to their foot warmers after purchase.
At any time within a year of buying a pair of socks, purchasers can get up to two single socks per pair by submitting a claim. But this doesn’t involve just any recoup document.
The company requires the insurees to upload a “funny photo” to Facebook along with the claim. Then, according to their website, they’ll send “a beautiful new foot covering lickety-split..”
