NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks are moving between slight gains and losses as investors brace for a busy week of news.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 26 points, or 0.2 percent, at 17,363 as of 11:55 a.m. Eastern time Monday.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 was up a point at 2,018. The Nasdaq rose 16 points to 4,647.
The Dow and S&P 500 closed at record highs on Friday.
This week will be a busy one for markets. The European Central Bank meets on Thursday to decide whether it will take more steps to stimulate the region’s economy. And on Friday the monthly U.S. jobs survey will be released.
Bond prices fell. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 2.37 percent.
